Obscure Fandom challenge fic was due at midnight. Like, 23 hours ago. I left for my grandparents' house early Friday afternoon, laptop in tow to finish and post the fic. Saturday afternoon, working steadily on fic, almost finished -- and the laptop DIES. It's four years old, I haven't used it in months, and the battery just went phut. Pried the disk out, but had no other computer to stick it in and no internet access until getting home five minutes ago. So now I have to recreate the parts of the fic I lost due to laptop death, finish it up, and post it, and I'm already almost a full day past deadline.

Fuck.

Edit: The deadline is midnight TONIGHT, not last night. I have less than an hour, and they're not giving extensions. FOR FUCK'S SAKE.
