Apparently, the House/Wilson has become so blatant that even TV Guide is all over it -- checkit.

Of course, the rabid scary H/W shippers are jumping all over this, but I refuse to let the batshit insane fandom distract me from my pure, unadulterated glee. LOOKIT THEM OMG.

In an odd twist, I'm actually kinda starting to ship Wilson/Amber and House/Cuddy. Well, I've always liked House/Cuddy well enough, so that's not so weird. And I've never been a rabid House/Wilson shipper, so canon infringements on their one true love don't bother me. So I suppose this isn't much of anything. Still, fresh perspectives are always fun.

I also ship Thirteen/anyone and everyone. Love.

I...may have gone on a bit of an icon-making spree thanks to that House episode.

And I'm not sure I'm done yet, except that it's going on 10pm and I have to wake up at 6:30am for work tomorrow.

Yeah, that last episode really did go there on the House/Wilson not-really-subtext-anymore, didn't it. That was fun. I still doubt very much that they'll ever actually go there onscreen, especially if Amber sticks around, but it's pretty happy-making all the same. Also, holy shit, I am identifying with Thirteen quite a lot now. I hope they follow that up. And maybe even give her a name someday.

Also? That Cuddy + Wilson scene was MADE OF WIN. "Nice disguise, House."

House is love and squee. Moose on a Jew! I've discovered that, for the most part, this show can do no wrong in my eyes -- it's just so damn much fun. I love it without being fanatical about it, which means I enjoy what I get, and don't particularly care if one episode's not as good as another one. Also, Kutner makes me gleeful. And Taub + Foreman make a rather formidable investigative pair. And I like Thirteen, who needs a damn name already. When does the new team get into the credits?

Although I do miss Chase quite a lot.

Oh, yeah, and Wilson continues to be awesome, but that kind of goes without saying at this point.

House continues to be awesome, incidentally. Especially now that Foreman has finally gotten his head out of his ass and shows signs of returning to the character who used to be my favorite duckling. Who is still Chase, incidentally, although Cameron is way cooler now that she has only two minutes of screen time per week. Also, I love Kal Penn lots. (What's his character's name again? Kutner? 6/9, anyway.) And I'm starting to ship Big Love/Thirteen just a wee bit.

New Golden Compass trailer here. Mostly I like, although it's looking like they're gearing it towards a slightly younger audience than I'd like. I mean, yes, it's YA, but the books have a far more adult feel overall. Also, the daemons look just the slightest bit, er, cheesy, but really, that's unavoidable. Still, for the most part, nice. Is it December yet?

In other news, I'm still waiting for tonight's House ep to be available for download, but in the meantime, I've been spoiling myself thoroughly. House said WHAT?

I'm gonna be having flashbacks to the X-Files ep "Triangle" when I watch this, aren't I? Good enough for me!

And I seem to be writing a Helo/Sharon fic. Whoops. On the plus side, this may be the first time I ever turn in my Two Lines fic before deadline rather than several weeks (months?) late.

Took me a while to get around to watching the House season finale, what with finals and all, but I made sure to fully spoil myself for it in preparation. There was so much doomsday talk!

Now that I've had a chance to download and watch last night's House...

There is no rage like that when the House episode you downloaded cuts out about five minutes before the actual end of the episode. Gah. *re-downloads, hopefully the FULL ep this time, grumpily*

Aside from the criminal lack of Wilson, I like it, though. I dunno. It's weird, having to watch it a day after everyone else, because being the spoiler ho I am, I read all the reaction posts beforehand. Everyone seemed to really dislike this one. I don't know why. I mean, it's not one of the best, but it's solid, and it's nice to see an ep focus less on House himself and more on the other characters (read: Cuddy).

I still yearn for an entire episode from Wilson POV. If the show runs long enough, I figure they may well try it, for the novelty. X-Files gave us our first full Skinner episode towards the end of S3; it could happen.

HOUSE LOVE.

And some good Wilson bits, too! Ah, slashy subtext that will never canonically come to fruition, how I love thee. And House/Cuddy subtext, too, which is the one pairing I can at least sort of get behind that has at least a remote chance of maybe someday becoming canon. And Cameron wins at making Chase go O_O.

I think that's unspoilery enough, since all that could pretty much describe ANY House ep, but, y'know.

On the minus side, I'm remembering why I stopped following TV shows. The whole "next week, on House!" thing is jacking my blood pressure. Especially since this time it's "in THREE WEEKS, on House!" Bastards. That means there won't be a new episode until the week my play goes up.

...and speaking of really scary thoughts, whoa, that.

In other news, I have a ficathon fic due tomorrow that I really ought to finish. And, like, homework, but whatever.
