SO MUCH SNOW! Gooood stuff, that. Heh. I love NYC when it snows. And, can't fucking WAIT to see pictures from the snowy NY premiere tonight (which I can't stand around outside of, bah). Will now go pray to the gods of RPS that Dom/Elijah/Billy/anyone starts a snowball fight at the premiere. That would rock my world.

Fangorn!

TORN has a few clips from the WB special! Not the ten minutes of Dom/Billy hilarity, sadly, but they DO have the Fangorn forest clip, including some Billeh!commentary and Dom's beautiful, beautiful "mmm...bosoms" line. Spoiler alert. Lydia, this one's for you. ;)

Oh, and if there are any other NYC slashers out there, or at least anyone who's planning to be in NYC on the 17th/18th, talk to me! Please! A small group of pervy hobbit fanciers (including myself and lush_rimbaud) are going to one of the first midnight showings of TTT, and it would be awesome to coordinate theaters and meet other slashers! Come on, you know you want to...

Here I am, all happy that the premiere circuit has started, waiting for some slashy pictures, and look! Premiere clip! ...Oh, it's just Elijah talking about how cool the movie is going to be and some inane interviewer talking about the weather. Hmph. Wait wait wait. Look! Premiere photos! ...Oh, look, not a SINGLE bloody picture involving any two of the boys together. All solo photos of Elijah and Liv, and one of Dom and one of Billy and maybe a couple of Sean and Christine. HMPH. Want hobbits together, dammit! Anything, I'll take anything! Domlijah! Dom/Billy! Seanlijah! Billijah! Dom/Sean! Billy/Sean! Elijah/Sean/Billy/Dom! SOMETHING! ANYTHING!

All right, pissed off now. I feel horribly deprived of hobbit love. But at least I know I didn't miss anything by not standing around outside the theater.

random blather of the moment

You know what annoys me? I've been working on a fic, on and off, since late September. Not that it's a particularly long fic or anything, but I'll write a piece of it, leave it for a few weeks, go back to it. And so on. Well, because of my own ridiculously slow pace, it is no longer valid as a fic. I phrased that badly. Let's just say that I take pride in using canon (what little there is in RPS). Not canon as in rumors, but certainly in terms of where the boys go, the pics/clips we have of them, etc. And now much of the premise of my fic has gone completely down the drain, and that pisses the hell out of me. If I'd only worked on it more regularly, finished it a month ago, whatever... I LIKE this fic (or, what I have of it). I really don't want to scrap it. But it's just no longer applicable or even remotely relevant, and I don't know how well it'll withstand extensive rewriting. Bah. Reality continues to ruin my life.
