[brief] random blather

1. Happy birthday, rakshi! ::sends happy Seanlijah vibes your way:: Hope it's a good one!

2. Finally finally FINALLY lured me a nice little plotbunny, which accidentally happens to meet the guidelines of mcee's slash challenge, which I had never planned on responding to, but now I guess I am. Cool.

3. Said plotbunny captured in full detail, with much dialogue perfectly mapped out and such...at 2 AM, when I couldn't write it down. And haven't had a chance all day. And have to write AP Hell paper for tomorrow, so can't write it down. Still. ::clings to plotbunny:: Don't you dare abandon me, bunny. I have plans for you. Just, no time...

4. This is a very cool idea that all of you have to participate in. ::nods enthusiastically:: Rewrite other people's fics! You know you want to. (lush_rimbaud, this means you, due to certain discussions based on getting our dirty little paws on so-and-so's or such-and-such's fics. Now we CAN.)

In appreciation of Real Literature

It seems like a crime to be writing an AP Hell mini-essay on this passage. It's too beautiful/painful to be analyzed to death.

( Possibly the most heart-wrenchingly sad and gorgeous passage in 20th century literature. )

Sorry, Tolkien. Love your books, but even the Grey Havens, Mount Doom, and Cirith Ungol together have nothing on this.
