a rather fandomless post.
Mar. 15th, 2003 12:46 amUm, what happened to
dorkorific? Anyone know? Anyone? Bueller?
Prom dress browsing amuses me muchly.
Incidentally, I was, in fact, raised to be a religious person. My mother began teaching me about God at a very young age. There is only one God, and His name is Stephen Sondheim.
Needless to say, she has raised me well. ;) Finally saw a production of A Little Night Music, at the City Opera no less. ::worships Sondheim. As if I didn't already:: Jeremy Irons may not be the singer Len Cariou was, but he can certainly carry a tune, and he does it with class. I mean. Just. Jeremy Irons as Fredrik. How bloody perfect can it get? Their Desiree was a little weak, but an all-around brilliant cast, gorgeous staging, and...yeah. Much worship for Sondheim.
kaydee's Sondheim checklist: Follies, Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, Pacific Overtures, A Little Night Music -- check. Sunday In the Park With George -- multiple video viewings, close enough. Next up: Assassins, I hope. Rest of to-see list: Bounce (coming this summer, trial run in Chicago), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Merrily We Roll Along, Passion. Not-worth-it list: The Frogs, Anyone Can Whistle. I'm doing pretty well, I think...
