housemouse gave me the code. She and
gabbyhope were the first two people I friended. And so on, and so on.
My first entry:
Wow, I haven't changed much, have I? Whoops.
...
In other news, have FINALLY seen Pirates of the Caribbean, and now I really want to have Johnny Depp's blatantly gay and poncy babies. Geoffrey Rush coninues to be God. Jonathan Pryce continues to unleash the theater!geek in me. Kiera Knightley is gorgeous and wonderful. And, heck, Orli is pretty damn pretty as well. Plot somewhat predictable, lines acceptably cheesy, and an overall amusing and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Although every time Orli did anything involving weapons, I had a Legolas moment. And there's this one line he has, something like "We must fight!", which was entirely Legolas, and I actually had to bite my hand to keep from squealing like a bloody fangirl.
Also, the previews were for that Hidalgo flick, and I kept squeeing quietly to myself and wondering why the hell Aragorn was speaking with a Southern accent.
Goooood times.
