random x-men trivia question

By which I mean, it's not all that random and it's not technically trivia, because I actually want to know this. Does anyone know the name of Rogue's boyfriend in the first X-Men movie? Y'know, the one that she sucks the life out of at the beginning?

It's for a fic, and it probably won't be all that important, but I like to get my details right.
