writing bitchiness

It's hard to write angstfic well. Goddamnit. It's also hard to write a man in love without making him sound really stupid.

I'm almost done with this fic, too, which is practically record writing time for me these days. I've been working on the dratted thing for only a week. Scene 1 just came out so easily, and scene 2 was fun to write although it gave me a little trouble towards the end, scene 3 was a bit of a monster but still worked itself out, scene 4 was a breeze (really didn't expect that), but the final scene just doesn't want to be written.

Sirius, you are more than welcome to be angsty in this scene, but for god's sake stop turning into a girl.

I knew there was a reason I avoided HP fic for so long. There's just so much fucking angst all the time.

My laptop went boom. Then my friendly neighborhood RCA fixed it to some extent, but now the screen resolution is really screwy and scrolling is ridiculously choppy. Must investigate further.

In baseball news, I'm a huge Yankee fan (er, yes, I'm from NYC, who am I supposed to support, the Mets?), but you know what? The Red Sox have played damn well this season, and if they can pull this off, they make baseball history. I have a lot of respect for that.

Besides, the Yankees are in the World Series every year, we can afford to give someone else a chance. ;)
