I have made essay. It is not fabulous, but we are allowed to rewrite it and improve the grade later. Therefore, I am done. Only nine hours after I technically began, and with many distractions and interruptions in between. So neener to you, Social Sciences course. Or something. Yeah.

ETA: The reason I feel so triumphantly productive, in spite of all the time I wasted? For the first 2.5 pages of this essay, I was writing at the pace of approx. 2hrs 24min / page. The last four pages? 20min / page. So I really did hit a stride of sorts. (Granted, this doesn't take into account the fact that I compiled all my quotations from the text in that first chunk of time. But still.)
