in case anyone was wondering...
Apr. 11th, 2005 01:07 amThat TV show meme? The guess-my-favorite-characters? Here are the actual answers.
1. The X-Files
Here, I would have accepted any of the following:
Agent Pendrell (guessed by
semielliptical), because he's just the sort of lab geek that I'm currently dating I have a tendency to fall for.
Mr. X, because he is by far the most interesting, twisted, and creepy of all of Mulder's informants, and I love morally ambiguous characters because you have no fucking clue what they're going to do next.
The Alien Bounty Hunter, because best. villain. EVER. I mean, he could be ANYONE, and yet he chooses to wear that ugly mug? He also falls under the category of can't-tell-what-he'll-do-next, because he's a freakin' alien and his logic makes virtually no sense by human characters. Those sorts of characters fascinate me.
Close runners-up would be Krycek (morally ambiguous, no idea who he's working for, and fucking HOT), the Lone Gunmen (who doesn't love these guys?), and, of course, Moose and Squirrel themselves.
2. NYPD Blue
Apparently, no one else ever watched this show. Phooey to you. My heart belongs to Sorensen, because he had the wounded puppy dog thing PLUS morally ambiguous thing. Although on this show, everyone's kinda morally ambiguous. Except Gay John. I love Gay John too.
3. Whose Line Is It Anyway?
trivetmonger got it, because he knows me and improv. Colin Mochrie is The Man. He just is. The Balding Canadian Man.
4. Sports Night
semielliptical made a guess in the same geek-loving vein as in the X-Files. Of course, my favorite character is Jeremy. God. What's not to love?
5. Coupling
Okay, so obviously Jeff is everyone's favorite character, and mine as well. But Patrick would also work here, because while I may not agree with his politics or views on women, he's the one character who gets better, funnier, and more interesting every season. He saved season 4.
6. Star Trek: TNG
Data is the only reason I let my boyfriend make me watch this show. I guess it's the geek thing again.
