still alive
Jun. 21st, 2005 03:47 pmSupposedly, someone is coming to install internet in our apartment on Saturday. Which isn't nearly soon enough, but at least now I know that my internetless days WILL come to an end. Or something.
Skimmed through skip=bajillion. Hope all is well, and many many thanks for the birthday wishes! To celebrate, I saw Batman Begins, which was all kinds of awesome. My only non-spoilery complaint was that they could have pushed the inherent darkness of Wayne's character even further. Nolan and Bale played with it a bit, but I really wanted him to be just barely this side of villain. I'm twisted that way. But. Yes. Great movie, much better than most superhero flicks, although I still prefer the X-Men.
Speaking of X-Men, I need to get cracking on that
xmmficathon fic. I know what it's gonna be about and such, but I'm having a lot of trouble with the writing part. Probably because I don't much like the main character. It's hard writing from the perspective of a character who bores you. How do I make this person interesting without making them totally OOC? Bah.
