passing the news along

For those of you who might not have heard, Kia (punkmeanscuddle) passed away last night. One of her friends posted about it in a locked post a few hours ago.

I can't say I was all that close to her, but she was one of my first friends on LJ three years ago, and now I wish I'd gotten the chance to know her better. She will be sorely missed.

I just. There are no words.

life goes on

Part of me wishes I could just...take a day off from RL, and remember, and mourn. But I can't.

I'm leaving for the airport in an hour. I'm trying to be properly excited about this, but it's just not working. Oh, well. Flying always clears my head, in a way, so this is probably a good thing. I'll feel better once we land.
