yuletide assignment is incredibly open-ended. On the one hand, that's a plus, because I can do whatever I want. But on the other, I have no idea what my recipient might want. Well, I'll check around her LJ and try to get a sense of her tastes in fic, I guess.

As long as everyone's in character, do whatever you want, although I'm not a huge fan of lovey-dovey shmoopiness. I'm partial to humor at the moment, but really, just play to your own strengths as a writer, and I'm sure it will be fabulous.
