God, I'd forgotten how much fun it can be to write a humor-based fic. Lately I've been all poignant and deep and meaningful, and it's just much more entertaining to write amusing dialogue and such. Well, amusing to me, anyhow. Like the fic I wrote for the Lotripping zine. Not my best, but I had more fun writing that fic than anything else. It's nice to be back in that sort of ficcish mindset again.

And after all these years, I am still SUCH a dialogue whore OMG.

stupid proxy server.

Can't seem to manipulate my FTP program to get past the network proxy. Goddamnit. I know how to get past the proxy for, say, Skype, but that involves instructing the program as to the proxy and port number and my password, and the FTP program doesn't give me a place to input any of that info. So, no website updates for me. Dammit.
