Due to my schedule this term of four-day weekends in which I rarely speak to another human being (except my roommates, if we happen to pass each other in the kitchen), the days when I AM going to spend time in the company of other people have become oddly special, in that I actually have a reason to dress in nice clothes and put my contacts in and whatnot. So I am most unhappy about the fact that, in preparation for rehearsal this afternoon, I put on clothes that look good on me and did the contacts-and-minimal-makeup thing and played around with my hair, only to check my e-mail and discover that said rehearsal has been cancelled.
Bah.
It's not a big deal, but, y'know, I was kinda looking forward to it, and now I feel that my efforts to make myself presentable have been cruelly wasted. I look reasonably hot right now and there is NO ONE TO APPRECIATE IT, dammit.
