Apart from rehearsal and doing laundry, I've basically spent the entire day teaching myself CSS in order to completely redesign my website. Wow, this is kind of trippy. And shiny. And occasionally frustrating (why do you not support normal footers, oh otherwise wise and benevolent CSS?).

I should probably not actually do the entire website tonight, though. Due to my previous lack of ability with CSS, adding it to the entire site (which has how many separate pages for individual fics now?) means recoding every. single. page. Which is why I'm adding in CSS in the first place, of course, so that next time I decide to do a complete design overhaul, I won't have to recode everything. Hopefully.

Speaking of which, the whole impetus for this in the first place is that I'm moving from dombillijah.com over to its sister site, oscillating.net. Once I finish my complete overhaul, that is. And not that anyone will really notice except me.

Well, looks like the temp agency has finally pulled through, because I've got another job to start shortly. They will never understand that I want to work part-time, not full-time, but it bothers me less this time around. Having three-hour instead of four-hour rehearsals and waaaay less transit time to get to the theater helps in that regard. It's a temp-to-perm position, which I'm less thrilled with as I have NO intention of taking a job like this as a permanent hire, but at least it's more likely to give me steady employment until a theater admin job turns up, and lord only knows how long that'll take. We'll see how miserable it is when I get there. If the people I work for are cool, it might not be so bad, but I don't have particularly high hopes. Still, paycheck. And the theoretical possibility of complete financial independence from my parents someday.

Since I'm completely overhauling my fic/icon website, I want to be as user-friendly as possible (well, within my personal aesthetic tastes, that is). Take two seconds to tick a few boxes and I will be eternally grateful, and also my site will be prettier.
