good enough for me

So tonight I stepped off a bus onto a patch of black ice, resulting in a long wet streak down my side/butt and a very large, impressive bump on my knee that will bruise spectacularly in a day or so; and had a plate of marinara sauce accidentally explode in my general direction, utterly destroying my sweater (which, admittedly, is about five years old and was due for retirement anyway). But this was all in the service of having dinner with a rather cute, engaging girl, so I count the evening as a success.

Granted, this is the fifth person I've met for a date-type-thing in the past five months, so I'm not getting my hopes up, but I had fun and she had fun so we'll see what happens. That's good enough for me.
