i have lost my mind, clearly

I think I have Beautiful Weather Insanity Syndrome, or something, because today, while idly wandering through my neighborhood, I randomly went on a shopping spree and bought a DVD, jeans, a skirt, and a dress.

No, seriously, guys, I do not wear dresses, what the hell? It is a strapless red sundress. WHAT. It fit me perfectly, I could not resist. And it was only $7!

And then, in a pique of wtf-ery, I randomly went to a hair salon and cut all my hair off.

Okay, not really, but you have to understand, I have had long hair for years. This January, I got my hair cut to shoulder length and freaked out a little because my hair hadn't been so short since, like, high school. And now it's chin length, my god, I have not had hair this short literally since middle school, guys, what the hell.

quick movie rec

If you have the chance to see The Fall, you really, really should. It's spectacular, sweet and harsh and funny and visually stunning. That guy from Pushing Daisies is in it, and he's smoking hot fantastic, and the little girl is the most natural child actress I think I've ever seen. It's a bit like Pan's Labyrinth, except not soul-crushingly depressing, and with visual imagery reminiscent of Hero. It's got a criminally limited release, so it may be hard to track down, but if it's playing anywhere near you, go for it.
