kaydeefalls: TARDIS parked outside Millennium Centre (aliens in cardiff)
I just realized, I never thanked the wonderful mystery person who nominated And Indeed There Will Be Time for the Children of Time Awards. So, yes, thank you, whoever you are! The fic is in the General category along with about ten or fifteen other fics, many of which are well-loved fandom classics and much better than mine, so I certainly will not be winning anything, but it's very lovely to be thought of. :)

And I did indeed sign up for the new round of [livejournal.com profile] tardis_bigbang, which means I HAVE to finish the post-CoE fic. Sometimes I can only function with a deadline looming over my head.

Unrelatedly, I finally saw Avatar the other day, and liked it much better than I expected to. The general premise had a lot of racefail, which made me a bit squirmy, but apart from that, it was solid entertainment. Lots of kickass women kicking ass all over the place, which helped, and I fell madly in love with Trudi (Michelle Rodriguez), oh my GOD, I want her to be my girlfriend so badly. Nngk. And the 3D was used very effectively, very nifty. So, yeah. Worth seeing.
