leanwellback, passing the news along.
fizzyblogic passed away earlier today.
I...kind of don't know how to process this. Jason was one of the most amazingly positive personalities I'd ever encountered in any fandom, and everything about him was made of kittens and cuddles and squee. I can't begin to imagine what his loved ones are going through right now. I'm not going to pretend I knew him well, but we'd been fandom friends since Lotrips, and I had the great honor of spending a squee-filled afternoon with him once in Chicago years and years ago. He was a wonderful person.
I've been in a hobbity mood for the past few days, since seeing The Hobbit on Monday, and I'm in the process of rewatching all the special features on the trilogy DVDs and basking in the glow of how much I fucking LOVED that fandom, and Jay will always be one of the people I most strongly associate with the Lotrips boys. And...yeah.
We'll miss you, Jason.
