new something, anyway

Okay. I keep saying this and it doesn't actually change anything, but 2019, man. I swear I will get back into fandom in 2019.
I've started checking DW and Tumblr more regularly (enough to know about the Tumblr exodus, sigh, we'll see how that shakes itself out), so I'm feeling a bit less of an outsider lately, even if I don't contribute much. I posted two new vids this past year, which is two more than in 2017, so hey. And I'm actively working on two more, one of which is MCU and needs to be finished before Endgame if it wants to be even remotely relevant, and I do better with a deadline, so that's a thing.
Apart from Yuletide, I haven't completed a single fic in three years. Which is...rough. But Yuletide has in fact been happening -- even if it was PULLING TEETH this year, ugh, but still, I posted by deadline, so yay team. But I need to remember what the habit of writing feels like. I miss it desperately. In the past couple of months, I've actively added words to two old WIPs and started poking with a brand new WIP. Baby steps. I'm trying.
I'm also going to try to post on DW once a week. Even if I don't have anything much to say. Just to be present.
I miss you guys. May 2019 be better for everyone.
