For the roughly 50% of you (based on my highly unscientific poll a few weeks ago) who prefer to wait until a fic is complete before starting to read it -- which includes, y'know, me -- reposting fic link here now that I've uploaded the full thing to AO3:

Summary: Medieval mystery AU. In the aftermath of a bloody siege during the 12th-century English Anarchy, the monk Henry and tradesman Erik discover evidence of murder: one corpse too many hidden among the fallen rebels. To see justice done, Erik must tread carefully through the conflicting and treacherous loyalties of civil war, as well as the potentially dangerous schemes of the enigmatic young Lord Xavier.
Posting chapter by chapter was an interesting experiment! I doubt I'll do that again -- and normally wouldn't, except that the structure of this particular murder mystery fic did lend itself well to a more serialized posting format -- but it was fun to try.
Now that I'm actually back in the habit of writing regularly, it's been weird to come to a stop. I've got another random fusion AU I'm starting to tinker around with, because I may as well embrace the fact that my inner fangirl is now stuck in X-Men fandom circa 2012/13 and has no particular interest in moving on. At least I'm entertaining myself, right?
