Damn, I'm relieved that you liked it! I was struck by the style of "Things to get away with..." because it left so many things unsaid and unseen, lots of blank spaces I could fill in. I wasn't deliberately trying to replicate the style in my remix, but I didn't want to completely switch it around into a comedy or a melodrama, just...fill in some of the blanks. Orlando seemed like a good character to work with, because he always seemed to be just on the periphery of what Miranda and Viggo were doing, observing but not quite participating. And. Yeah. Thank you for providing me with such a great story to play around with! (And, yeah, I tend to write only hobbitsnorli, while your fics are all across the board -- I'm not surprised you haven't really read my stuff!)
