As a full-blown social science geek, this is a practically orgasmic line-up.
I don't CARE about Marx's thoughts on economics and class relations, I don't CARE about Durkheim's notion of the self, and I DON'T FUCKING CARE about Freud and psychoanalysis
*orgasms* *g* I've even made the pilgramage to Freud's house in Vienna. But on the other hand, there are plenty of subjects that bore me to tears, much as these do you.
But just think- someday you'll be at a swank dinner party and you'll be able to hold forth on Durkheim's notion of the self and totally impress everyone.
