HI I AM TWENTY NOW.

Which is not particularly old, and a rather uninteresting age to be except for the fact that I am no longer a teenager. But, y'know, it worries me. If I'm allowed to be some kind of grownup, then...then...damn, they really let anyone become an adult, don't they? Shouldn't there be some sort of exam we have to pass first, to prove that we are capable of thinking like grownups and doing grownup things like paying rent and buying groceries and holding real jobs? Because as far as I can tell, I'm still about fifteen, and sooner or later They will find me out.

But! Birthday! Which means presents! Theoretically! In packages in the mail! From relatives in other states!

BWAH! Happy birthday! Twenty always felt sort of like limbo to me -- not a teenager anymore, but not technically an adult (at least as far as the liquor laws in my state are concerned). Hope you get some good loot!

YOU ARE TWENTY NOW! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

*cuddle*

There are hobbits on my to-do list which will be for you. I just don't know when I'll get to them (but, eh, it's the thought that counts, yes?)

I'm thirty-five, and I still feel like that every day of my life. Adults are just children who owe money.

Happy day to you!

oh, honey, none of that proves anything. lots of thirty-year-old children do that.

happy birthday. :-)
