I tried very, very hard not to cry after reading this and it didn't work. A beautiful, beautiful piece. Ever since I saw the movie and started thinking about Narnia again, it's struck me as highly implausible that Susan could forget. And this just...explained that. And it makes me irrationally want her to die in a car crash so she can go back.
