I hate Book 7. I mean, I loathe it. Like the third Godfather movie, I generally refuse to even acknowledge it's existence. And I hate Tonks too.
Yet you have written this long and utterly perfect story containing all of that and I not only don't hate it, I love it. From the back-forth structure to Remus' voice at every stage of his life, to the characterization of Sirius. This is gorgeous.
I immediately rec'd it to a friend who I have recently gotten hooked on R/S fic. I still refuse to acknowledge Book 7 generally, but I'll make an exception for this story.
