Um, just started watching the latest BSG.
I had to stop at the credits. WAS THAT THE MOST INTENSE FIVE MINUTES OF TELEVISION EVER OR WHAT HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. Helo, doing what he thinks is right even though it's against every instinct in his nature to mutiny against his captain -- and, moreover, one of his closest friends. Athena putting Kara into a headlock. Sam going batshit and taking things into his own hands by shooting Gaeta. OH MY GOD GAETA. I freaked out a bit there. Sam, if he dies because of you, we are THROUGH. Though I doubt it -- shots in the leg are rarely fatal -- unless he loses a massive amount of blood. And then Kara breaks free of the crazy and stops caring about anything except her injured crewman, and actually comes up with a proposal that makes sense -- or, at least, as close as she can get to a compromise between what her crew wants and what she needs, and not a word of reprisal about the short-lived mutiny. And then everyone finally, FINALLY remembers that, um, Athena is a Cylon, which is something that has been driving me nuts all this season. And the Helo/Athena restrained angst, but my girl Sharon does what she needs to, as always.
AND THIS IS JUST THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES.
Oh, show. Welcome back. No more the squeeful but vaguely eh episodes! Back to awesometasticness!
Um, of course, that's assuming the rest of the episode lives up to the intro. Must finish watching now.
ETA: Yeah. Yeah, it did. Oh, my heart. *loves*
