Dude, I knew I knew that guy! There's a bit part in Across the Universe -- and I mean barely a step up from extra -- Sadie's pianist. He's the guy she's hanging out with when Jojo auditions for them, he turns up in every scene with her performing with her band, and from pretty much the first time I saw the movie, I thought, man, he looks like a guy I knew in high school. Finally tonight I eyeballed the credits very, very carefully, and indeed, he IS that guy from my high school. That amuses me a lot more than it should.

Okay, so I just went back and watched it again. How in god's name did I miss that? Also, wondering why he didn't mention it in all the times I saw him between when that scene was shot (in like 2005) and when the film was released. Whoa. Brain hurts now.
