This is completely brilliant! You did such a great job keeping up the momentum, and omg, SO MANY VISUAL PARALLELS, which I am such a sucker for! So many great lyric matches and you really have an eye for both finding unusual shots and making familiar shots work perfectly. I fell in love with the whole verse all over again.
