So I am somewhat slow when it comes to writing my Dear Yuletide Generic Holiday Gift-Giver And Author Of Great Awesomeness (hereafter referred to as "Yulebat") Letter. My apologies, most wicked awesome Yulebat! Here we go.
First off: we have at least one fandom in common, which means I already know that you are awesome. I only request awesome fandoms, and here you are being so damn awesome and offering to write one of them, and that's pretty darn nifty. I also trust that you know your own strengths as a writer, and I would much prefer to receive a fic that you really enjoy writing and are proud of than force you to write something to any very particular specification I might have. This is your creation, I just gave you the prompt. Anything you write will be a fantastic gift.
My squicks are very few. I'm not into particularly kinky, hardcore porn. Porn is cool if that's what you enjoy writing, just please, no dubcon or non-con, and anything beyond mild BDSM or roleplay is a bit strong for me. I'll read it, but it's not really my thing. On the opposite end of the spectrum, exceedingly lovey-dovey shmoopiness isn't really my thing, either. And please, no character bashing of any character in any fandom. If you're writing, say, Ocean's 11 Rusty/Danny (WHICH I AM SO OKAY WITH), please don't bash Tess in the process. She's cool too.
Other than that: I <3 plot, and I <3 all of these characters. If you like coming up with intricate plotty hijinks, I will be ALL OVER THAT. On the other hand, character pieces are great too. I'm so easy, you have no idea. (I do love wacky hijinks, though. Just sayin'.)
I don't really have anything more to add on a fandom-specific basis than what's already in my requests. Just know that I love all of these characters to rather a ridiculous degree, and will take them in any romantic or platonic manner you can imagine. Again, romance is totally optional. Gen is great, slash is great, het is great, threesomes are really great, crossovers blow my mind in exciting ways. (Seriously, if you have a crossover bunny? GO WITH IT. I don't even care if the crossover is with a fandom I'm unfamiliar with, I love crossovers like I love chocolate, ANY WAY I CAN GET IT.)
