Finished S2 of Merlin. Tragic lack of Morgana, but otherwise pretty darn nifty. There IS going to be a S3, yes? Please say yes? Because, really, apart from the glorious OT5ness, I want Arthur to find out about Merlin's magic so badly, I don't even have the words. I was kinda hoping it would happen in the S2 finale, but alas. COME ON SHOW, STOP TEASING ME.

This was a good episode for the Arthur/Merlin fen, though, oh MAN. As per usual, I am blissfully content with any combination of my OT5, so that made me very happy, as did the Gwen/Arthur bits. I feel like the plot of the episode would have been better served by being a multiple-episode arc, because it felt very rushed to me, but okay.

I should probably get icons with Arthur and/or Merlin in them to go along with my Gwen/Morgana ones. They are nifty too.

Yep, there's definitely going to be a third season! And I'm glad you liked the end - "The Fires of Idirholas" kind of broke my heart, but I was pretty satisfied with the finale, and some of my friends did not feel the same way. :(

Re: secret identity - maybe I've been jaded from superhero fandoms (hi, DC Comics and Smallville!), but sometimes I forget that Arthur and everyone else will eventually find out. I'll probably be in disbelief when that moment actually comes.
