Oh. Oh. That episode was...just about perfect. (Which means that half the internet probably hated it, but whatever.) Oh, my goodness. Way to hit a bunch of my storytelling kinks super hard, show.
Also, multiple companions for the win, seriously. Can Rory keep traveling with them always? The dynamics between three people are just so much more interesting, silly love triangles aside. (See: Nine+Rose+Jack, which was so marvelous to watch, irregardless of shipping preferences.)
No huge thinky thoughts right now. Too happy with that episode. More of the same always, please.
ETA: Yeah, as I suspected, a lot of people weren't big fans of it, for totally valid reasons. Which means I'm in the place where I can absolutely understand and agree with the issues they had with the episode, but I still loved it, so now I feel like a bad person. I dunno. I may just need to handwave this one.
