If I'm calling an individual, I hate not knowing whether I'm interrupting something, and when calling companies I hate not knowing who or what I'm going to encounter speaking on the other end.

I'm holding off seeking fic until I'm a bit further along in the series -- I've been spoiled for plenty already, I'm trying to leave SOME plot developments a surprise -- but I'll keep you in mind once I dive into fandom properly. :) (Oh, god, Buffyverse fandom. Should I be afraid?)
