First, I'll apologize, because I'm fairly certain the miscommunication here started with me. I was not at all offended by your original comment. I thought it was a legitimate question, mainly because I have a tendency to ask myself why I always overanalyze everything. I think I misunderstood your question, but nevertheless, my response was not intended to be hostile. It was an honest answer to an honest question. In fact, I was trying to word it carefully so you wouldn't think I was offended or angry.
I guess that didn't work. Now that I go back and reread it, my response sounds far too defensive. I didn't mean it in that way at all, but I can definitely understand what it must have looked like to you.
