At this point, I've just accepted it. It didn't fuck up anything else, and it feels silly to DOWNgrade my OS. I just wish I'd had warning about my version of Adobe CS being too old to function on the new OS. And then I compounded my own idiocy by uninstalling it to free up hard drive space (which I don't have very much of), which I belatedly realized meant I couldn't just upgrade it for $200 instead of buying new for $700. FUCK YOU ADOBE.
