Since all the cool kids are doing it, and I clearly love nothing more than pretending to be cool and failing magnificently, AO3 hitcount meme time! For the record, I have 138 fics uploaded to AO3.

-All but one of my X-Men: First Class fics lead off this list. XMFC was last year's fandom juggernaut, and the first fandom I've participated in that really embraced AO3 as a platform for posting fic, so this is not at all surprising. They're followed by my two Whoniverse Big Bangs and a Yuletide fic.
-My only XMFC fic NOT on this list is the Angel gen fic -- again, no surprise there. (If I keep scrolling down, it shows up as #16 -- behind a few Yuletide fics and, oddly enough, a couple of vids.) Judging by my list, fandom really likes white dudes boning. (Or giving each other Significant Looks and making out sometimes, the way I generally write them.) I feel more than a bit guilty about this -- I do write fics focused solely on the ladies, but not as many, and they're never anywhere near as popular as the boyslash. At least in my ensemble fics, I do my best to give each primary female character roughly equal POV-time as each primary male character, but in the fandoms I frequent, that still tilts the balance unfairly toward the menfolk. (Once, in a fit of boredom/curiosity, I actually did a breakdown of how many scenes were narrated by each character in Boden's Mate. The winner? Raven. Followed closely by Erik and Alex, but still, that surprised me.)
-When I used to primarily post fic to LJ, I always felt like short fics tended to get way more feedback than long ones. On AO3, long fics definitely trump. This is comforting, as I can't seem to keep a story under 10k words these days, so I'm very grateful people seem to be interested in all the damn epics I keep spewing out. :D
-I'm kind of amused that my little Chanukah fic is the one Yuletide fic that made the top ten. It makes me happy.

Speaking of fic, I sent the next chapter of Queen's Gambit off to beta earlier this week. So that's coming. :) And my show closes Sunday, which means a solid month of only working my day job and having BUCKETS of writing time and packing to move more than halfway across the country, holy shit.
