Kansas isn't -completely- flat. Just mostly. There are actually states flater than Kansas. (Sorry, the Kansan in me had to say something.)
But yeah, the drive across Kansas is pretty boring. I was lucky that there was three drivers the one time we drove from KC to Denver, that way we could rotate.
