It's true I find Boden's Mate a more compelling story, but probably a bunch of that is that the plot of that one is really tight and also finished. And the first time I read it the reveal was extremely successful and I like remembering that. Ocean's Eleven is a great movie, and it's fun watching you carve out bits of that for use in Queen's Gambit.
