I don't really remember what's going on with Alex, but--no, wait, I just remembered while I was typing this, and this is the fic where Alex stayed with Erik to make sure he stayed alive, and I loved that relationship, the duty they owed each other and how while they didn't always like each other, they honored the bonds between them. That is a total guh! reading kink for me.
