No deep thoughts, just needed to say - WELL THAT WAS THE MOST FUCKING DEPRESSING FINALE IN THE HISTORY OF EVERYTHING.
I kept waiting for the reveal that Missy's shooty thing didn't actually kill people, just transported them elsewhere (like in "Time Heist"), and actually, since the Master never dies, I'm still operating under that assumption. So I do believe that she and Osgood are still out there somewhere.
But GOD FUCKING DAMMIT, DANNY PINK. It would've been cheap to bring him back somehow, and I respect his death, but I am super not okay. I mean, okay, fine, the tag at the end implies that at least Clara and the Doctor will get some actual closure in the Christmas special -- which is good, because I was actually yelling at my screen when the credits started rolling -- but goddamn, everything is awful forever. I mean, this show likes soul-crushing finales, but at least the Ponds still had each other, and Rose had her family (and then human!Doctor), and Martha didn't lose anyone, and Donna still wins the award for worst fucking finale but at least she doesn't know what she's missing (ugh, I will never make that argument again, I feel dirty now), but CLARA. Fucking hell. I'm unreasonably upset about Danny's death. NOT OKAY.
Also, the Brig!Cyberman, UGH, BREAK MY HEART AGAIN.
