I've seen three different stage versions of Chicago. Love it to pieces. And the movie *is* wonderful! Have seen that three times as well... *chuckles*
But the reason why they took out several of the songs ['class' is a really good one] was because it didn't go well with the whole concept of the movie, y'know? Class couldn't have been done because it didn't fit in Roxie's dream world. They are on the CD, though, I'm pretty sure... and they will be on the DVD. So yay for that.
