Roeper shouldn't be on your favorite person list anyway. He didn't like "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back," and he's not as much of a balancing force to Ebert as Siskel was. I mean, you've got to have somebody there to balance out Ebert's weird-ass review of "Spider-Man." Oh, not to mention the way that Roeper went out of his way to bash "Fellowship" any time it was mentioned anywhere at any time for at least two months after its release. Case in point:
