I actually had nightmares about Brick last night. More than one. Thanks ever so much, subconscious, for making sure I know how self-conscious and insecure I am about this fucking play.

Although I am actually in love with the class, I know what you mean. My friend is ALSO in the class, and hers is terrible. I think it really depends on the teacher you have.
We just discuss things. Yay for free speech. Essays once in a while, but I guess I will forgive him because he has to mark something.

I want to be writing a nice, normal history paper right now. Literary analysis is all well and good, but takes me ten times longer than it has any right to. And I have to incorporate two critics' arguments into my own, which actively causes my brain to explode...

OMFG! I would kill to write a lit analysis! The history just - gah. So much research, and presenting an original opinion and all that. I write English papers so much better! I don't know if I'll even qualify on the Euro exam, but I got a 5 on my English and Comp exam last year...

If only we'd talked about this sooner. We could have traded!

Well, I haven't read it, but based on what I could get from SparkNotes - Through evident religious references and exaggerated dramatization, Gabriel Garcia Marquez's tragic work, One Hundred Years of Solitude expands on such popular literary motifs as isolation, machismo, and the inevitable: fate.

Forgive me if it's crap or if it's not about the book at all. Like I said, I haven't read it, just sort of skimmed through the themes and the plot overview.

You're not alone here: Last night I dreamt that we were rehearsing a scene that I had never seen before, and I had a whole lot of lines, none of which I knew, and I was desperately trying to read them off the script and you were pretty upset. This was more disturbing then it may seem.

Heh. My dreams were more of the everything-falling-apart variety, including (but not limited to) the TI-89 dance looking like shit, and I was being blamed for all of them...
