Matrix: no spoilers, but know that the action sequences kick much assage, Agent Elrond Smith rocks very hard, but the dialogue BURNS. Also, Neo and Trinity have no friggin' chemistry whatsoever, and this is the first time I've ever disliked Laurence Fishburne as an actor. The plot is five parts cool and three parts contrived. So, final score (out of 10):
Special FX / Action sequences: 11
Plot: 7
Acting: 4
Dialogue: 2
FINAL SCORE: 6
Look, if you just wanna have a good time and let the visuals blow you away, then have at it. It's brilliant. But don't look for anything impressive or fulfilling otherwise.

In other news...
AI - whew. Still have Clay.
Home - wow, I just spent over an hour of solid mopping in the kitchen. The friggin' dishwasher leaked. And by leaked, I mean POURED WATER OUT OF EVERY OROFICE. For fuck's sake.

Werd to that. Werd to all of it. You said it perfectly. Especially about the dialogue and Laurence Fishburne.

And I've never been one for Neo/Triniti. Blar.

Yeah. It's sad, because normally Laurence Fishburne is so wonderful, and here he was just...kinda bad. Le sigh.

And I TRY to like the Neo/Trinity, but...but... Come on, Neo has more chemistry with SMITH than with Trinity. For the love of...!

I appreciate the warning. I may get to go to a movie this weekend, will probably do X2 instead.

It's not that Matrix Reloaded isn't worth seeing, because it is. But. Yeah. X2 isn't in the same class of Special FX, but it's a bit more enjoyable, overall, and the characters actually talk like, um, people. ::thumbs up::

Yeah, I was listening to the reviews on my ride in to work this morning and the general opinion was that it was kind of lame. Which automatically means that "I" will like it *grins*. But... by the time I get around to seeing it it'll be in thesecond run place just because that's the way my life goes so... I don't mind spending the two bucks on it *laughs* I love Keanu Reeves though so, any chance to see him wearing black and shades is a pretty good reason to see a flick to me! ;)

Sorry 'bout the dishwasher!

Neo's all right, as long as he's not in a scene with Trinity. And, yes, Keanu is fine. Just. Yes. FINE. Mmm.
