it's horrible what they're doing to Dom and Elijah, if the rumors are true. And yeah, DL freaks me out. Um--107 pages of Domlijah gossip? Well, I can live with that. What really bothers me is how creepy a lot of the posters are.

Huh. Well, I'm actually incredibly lost... it seems that my ignorance about everything in this fandom rather then the fics themselves is finally hitting me from behind.

What *is* going on? Something about Dom/Lij shippers fawning all over the place?

No one *knows* what's going on, that's the annoying thing. There's an impossibly long Domlijah thread up at DL, which around page 85 had some creepy "insider" posters talking about the shit hitting the fan. Rumors and other such shit are flying, and it's impossible to tell who's got real info and who's just bullshitting. Basically, it seems like PR people have decided to crack down on Dom and Elijah in response to Comic Con, the stuff at DL, and/or them fooling around in public. There was something about Lij being forced into a marriage/engagement/whatever, which I'd like to think is utter bs. Who knows? It's just a bit frightening, is all.

...and I'm one of the Domlijah shippers who didn't *actually* believe they were together...

Well, I guess you could say I'm one of the Domlijah shippers that just don't give a feck. Let them live their lives; I'll go on happily writing them together, anyway.

I don't have a clue about this DL thing, but what bothers me most is that some people seem to be so eager to slap labels around. I mean, why? Why do they want to people to come out or stay in or whatever it is they want them to do? So they can say "Aha! Told you so!" Because really, it's not their business at all. I guess my stand on the matter is 'who cares, leave them alone and get a life'. Some fans are creepy.
