Saw Bend It Like Beckham last night, finally. Keira pretty, Indian girl also pretty, Indian girl's gay best friend extremely gay pretty as well, script clever and humorous. And I finally understand [livejournal.com profile] lush_rimbaud's obsession with Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. Because GUH.

Roomie and I definitely came out of movie theater going GUH over Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.

And at the end the gay Indian best friend is so totally lusting over Beckham while everyone else is saying goodbye to the girls and it's bloody hilarious.

Homework? Qu'est-ce que c'est "homework"? Je ne comprends pas...

Yeah, I lurve the gay best friend. He's such a sweetheart, too -- the whole I'm-not-in-love-with-you-but-I'll-marry-you-if-it-helps-you-get-what-you-want thing made me want to cuddle him a lot.

GUH SOCCER FOOTBALL.

i know! aww, i want my very own gay best friend. yes i do!

aaaah, football. i have to be careful. call it that around here, and you might get tackled by big scary high school boys in shoulder pads! so i say soccer, and i think football, and i watch premiership and i dream of europe. *happy sigh*

plus, like GUH JONATHON RHYS-MEYERS

It's ironic because at the exact time you posted this we were showing Bend it Like Beckham in our room. Johnathan Rhys-Meyes is cute and that Irish accent just drives me wild but I was absolutely enthralled with the Indian girl who dominated my attention. Wait, there are still theaters showing the movie? That's pretty cool. On an entirely unrelated note, how are you?

Our campus movie theater, Doc, shows a different movie every day. Fridays & Saturdays are relatively recent movies that may or may not still be in theaters elsewhere. Next Saturday is X2, whee!

I'm fine, thanks...
