50 icons. I could have 50 icons. I could bring back all my old favorites, and when I'm back home with my excellent Photoshop skillz and not this crappy flatscreen image-mutilating laptop, I could go on icon rampages without deleting any of the oldie-but-goodies.

My paid account expires in...um...ten days, I think. It would be so easy to just add those few extra dollars when I renew it.

On the other hand, with all the RL blather relocated to the RL journal, I feel like I never post here anymore. And that makes me feel oddly disconnected from fandom. Plus, I haven't been writing much lately. How long will I last here, after RotK finally comes out? Will another year's account be worth it? Will I still BE here a year from now?

50 icons.

Resistance is futile, isn't it?

Why don't you just make this your RL journal as well?

Put it behind friends-lock or have it be private entries. LJ allows it.

It's not that I don't want everyone reading my RL blather. Frankly, I don't care if people I've never met know where I'm in college or what the stupid!teenage!angst-of-the-moment is. But I don't want my RL friends reading my fandom stuff. And if I locked all my fandom entries, then...well, I tried that for a while, but some people are here ONLY for the fandom, and unless I automatically friended everyone and had lots of filters and... yuck. Easier to have two journals.
