And those icons are just stunning. You've worked the quotes in so perfectly, and the colours and lines and angles are just beautiful. I never would have thought of Ian, but he would be just marvelous. I am drooling over your icons. Please use them with frequency!
Although...Dom as Ros? He strikes me as more of a Guil. At least where the two of them are concerned. Their chemistry always makes me see Dom as the leader and Billy as the somewhat chipper but out-of-his-depth follower.
"It's all over my depth - out of my head - over my step over my head body! I tell you it's all stopping to a death, it's boding to a depth, stepping to a head, it's all heading to a dead stop!"
I intend to use them with far too much frequency. *grins* And, damn, you have no idea how long it took me to find the Player pic I was looking for.
I originally had the parts reversed, because Rosencrantz is more Pippin and Guildenstern more Merry. I even had a Billy-as-Rosencrantz icon made. Then I thought about it, and...well, I dunno, but it just made sense to switch them. Guildenstern is more intellectual, more...biting, sometimes, and I'd really like to see Billy play him.
And while we're at it... "Well, we'll know better next time. Now you see me, now you--"
i wish i could actually see it performed, not just watch the movie or read the script. sucks to live in a small town when it comes to that sort of thing! ;_;
but our local playhouse is putting on the importance of being earnest! i just about died from excitement! it won't be for a while yet...
I've never seen a live performance, either (except for myself and two friends reading through the entire play, several times). Le sigh. We wants it, we does!
eheh. that is so cute! i want to do that.... ^_^ my friends aren't theatre dorks thoough, unfortunately.... they are anime dorks, or medieval club dorks. which is also good. :3
earnest has got to be my favourite play evah. fo sho. i laugh my ass off throughout most of it.
