you can download cutehtml, which is a nifty html editor program for coding in. (the trial period ends, but the essential parts of the program still work when you click the acknowledgement thingy.) then you can opeit allows you to search/replace through every open file.

oh dear, look at that wacko sentence.

i find it a lot more useful than notepad for everything else too. it numbers the lines, it has a hex-to-color selector where you can click the color on the palette and it gives you the web color code for it, and it puts images and links in different colors from normal text so you can see if you've forgotten to close a tag.
